21th Annual BCFO Conference Fort St. John, BC

The 21th Annual Conference will be held in Fort St. John, B.C. on the weekend of Jun 10-12, 2011.

Full details listing field trips, speakers, along with the registration form,  will be appear in the Spring edition of  BC Birding which will be out in late March. Details will be put on the website as they are confirmed.

The 21st Annual Conference will be held at the Quality Inn Northern Grand Hotel in the heart of the Peace River country, Fort St. John, B.C. on the weekend of June 10-12, 2011.

Just as last year, there will be just one flat rate for the Conference, this one price will include the meet and greet on Friday night which will include cheese, meat and veggie platters. A no host cash bar will be open from 6:00 till 10:00. Breakfasts both days which will include cereal, assorted muffins, fruit, toast, jams, tea, coffee, water and juices. Lunches both days which include soup and sandwiches.

Plus the banquet, to be held at the Quality Inn Northern Grand Hotel in Fort St. John. This will include Salmon and Roast Beef.

Fort St. John is a great venue for our conference bird wise, unfortunately it is also more expensive as you get that far north and that is reflected in our Conference fee for this year which will be: $150.00 per person which includes all of the above.

Transportation & Accommodation

Transportation to the conference and accommodation are up to the individual(s) to arrange. However we have been guaranteed a rate of $119.00 per night for up to 4 people per room at the Quality Inn Northern Grand Hotel, our group booking name is BCFO.
